As our Short Film is going to be a horror movie, we want to attempt to have dark lighting and shadows throughout the short film. For our first scene in the park, we went ahead and checked places where we can record our first scene where it looks dark and shadowy to attempt to make the viewers feel uneasy and unsettled whilst watching.
I also made sure the curtains in my room were completely shut to make the room completely dark to make the atmosphere seem more threatening and mysterious. Usually in horror movies, impending danger is located in the dark and is portrayed as something that viewers should be afraid of. The darkness is also seen as very mysterious.
