Proposal Equipment

First and foremostly, before we go ahead and get the necessary props for our short film we will need to gather the correct equipment to begin filming.

We would need to get a video recording camera to record all of our clips on, this would all be saved on a SD memory card and then ready to be transferred onto the Apple Macs into Final Cut Pro where we can begin editing. With the camera, we will need a tripod. The tripod will be used stabilise the camera  and prevent camera movement. The tripod will also allow us to use a long exposure and help us easily capture shots that we need without it turning out shaky.

We will also need a microphone during our production to record narration and voice-overs so that they sound clear and more effective if the audio we captured whilst filming did not sound clear enough or had any issues with the audio. We will also be using the microphone for any dubbing or narration we want over the video so that it all sounds loud and clear.

I will also bring in a USB to transfer any sound effects, music, etc. for the short film so we do not waste time trying to gather sound effects at the school and just transfer it all over via the USB drive.

Whilst editing, we could also use headphones so we can listen to our short film clearly as background noise in the classroom may be a problem and it would make it hard to hear  for any possible errors or just listen whilst editing.

As we're recording a majority of our short film on Zoom, the actors partaking in our Zoom call all must have access to a good webcam and/or phone camera. As I am going to be using my computer to be on the Zoom call, I must have a good HD webcam capturing 1080p or above so that the camera quality is clear and is not blurry or hard to see. Other actors using a phone should also have a good camera on it so that the quality is clear.
